But Prime Video's The Summer I Turn Pretty is, as I mentioned before, another really good example of this young adult genre just like absolutely taking over.
I feel like this genre really had its prime time back when we were in high school and we had The Hunger Games and we also had Twilight.
They were really, like, quality young adult books turned movies.
But then there was a lull.

There was a lull from, like, 2010 to, I want to say, I want to say 2018.

Because obviously the characters in a lot of these shows are really quite young.
They're like late teens, early 20s, which we saw with Tell Me Liars as well, even though that was a bit darker.
