And it's become the number one debut of all time for prime video among female viewers aged 18 to 34.

And the third most watched debut of all time, which is insane.

And that's pretty much thanks to us as Australians, because we have obviously been like gagging for it.

It's such a fitting word for the show.

Flix Patrol listed off campus as the number one overall title on Prime Video Australia across multiple days last week.

And the series has held the top local position for nearly two weeks following its launch.

But Prime Video's The Summer I Turn Pretty is, as I mentioned before, another really good example of this young adult genre just like absolutely taking over.

I feel like this genre really had its prime time back when we were in high school and we had The Hunger Games and we also had Twilight.

They were really, like, quality young adult books turned movies.

But then there was a lull.

Okay.

There was a lull from, like, 2010 to, I want to say, I want to say 2018.
