Yeah, and right now, everybody over there is working for a new boss man.

They got a new athletics director in town, and his name is actually just one letter.

Jay.

Jay Batt is Kentucky's new CEO slash AD.

And the big news of the week is we have finally gotten our hands on that compensation sheet, everything that has gone into his contract, now public knowledge.

You can find all those if you do a little digging yourself.

People always ask, like...

if we have to put in information requests or any of that kind of stuff.

It's a public university, so we're able to eventually get our hands on all of that once legal approves it all from UK side.

But I think the big story here, I mean, six years had gotten reported right off the bat, but nobody knew exactly where that salary was going to be.

It's a big raise from what he was making at Michigan State.

Year one at Kentucky, $2.6 million goes up every year.

In that sixth year, it's 3.35.

And I thought one of the more interesting parts, obviously, that's the big headline, right?

Like, the big number at the top.

But I think one of the more underrated storylines in here is how his actual incentives are written into the contract.

Because, you know, all of us had gotten really familiar with Mitch Barnhart's contract just because he'd been here so long.

And almost all of those were academic-based, performance-based.

You know, you get more if a team goes to a bowl game, for example, or the Final Four, or...

the team GPA or the director cup standings, any of that stuff that is what you think about in the typical athletics director contract.
