Still, as the summer of 1996 went on, neither the police nor Angie's family and friends had any leads.

Summer became fall, fall became winter, and there were no suspects, no arrests.

The investigation seemed to be at a standstill until one day in January 1997, when Idaho Falls police learned about a crime that seemed strangely similar.

There was an arrest hundreds of miles away in Nevada of a man who hung out down by the Snake River too, a man who knew Angie Dodge, a man who was even captured on video at Angie's funeral.
