So they trained them to that.

And then what they do is they put them in a little situation where the flower is out of reach...
but there is a little ball.
And the bees have worked out that if they push the ball to the far side where the flower is, stand on top of it, they can access the flower and get the little sip of sugared water.
Isn't that amazing?
So they learnt it.
And then they put them in various other situations where they turned out the lights and they could still do it because they remembered where the flower was and where the ball was and
So bees are a lot more intelligent.
And they talk about small brains, but look at the technology that we have, the nanotechnology.
Little chips that can achieve so much.
So it's no surprise really that a little bee brain can work out how to roll a ball and access an artificial flower.
This is real good news.
A Nepalese guide who's believed to have died on Mount Everest has been found crawling to base camp a week after going missing.
And they were so sure that he was dead that his family had started his funeral rites.
So Dawa Sherpa, also known as Hillary Dawa Sherpa, after the famous climber Edmund Hillary, who was the first to conquer Mount Everest back in 1958.
A fellow climber said he was last seen in the death zone, which is never good.
And they'd written him off and people had done little video tributes to him and all.
And then six days later, he crawls.
He's found crawling towards base camp and he's alive.
