And there was the only moment, I think, that claimed close to embarrassment was when Donald Trump kind of talked about how,

Britain, the king, supports the president in believing that Iran shouldn't be allowed to get a nuclear weapon.

To which Donald Trump added, he agrees with me even more than I do.

And I tried to kind of linguistically untangle that and failed.

Going back to my going through the invitation list to dinner last night, you had Jameson Greer, the US trade representative there.

And you had Varun Chandruf, who is the number 10 person who is also in charge of the trade negotiations.

So you had the two of them there.

And Jameson Greer, I'm sure, lapped up every moment.

of the king being in Washington, D.C., and all the splendor and the fine food and everything else, will it make any difference to any trade negotiations that Varun Chandra and Jameson Greer are engaged in?

No.

So look, OK, it hasn't done anything to make the relationship worse.

And that is a sort of result in itself, given how much relations had deteriorated between, you know, between governments.
