It's having an absolute stonker this year.

What I would say, though, and this has been a long-held issue here in Christchurch, and that is it is way too hot inside every building in Christchurch.

They dress for that to happen.

So, for example, you'll be outside, it'll be three degrees.

You'll walk inside, it'll be 33 degrees.

And I guess the idea is that you dress in such a way that you just have a T-shirt underneath and then like a puffer jacket over the top.

But my God, it is a recipe for a flu.

This whole city is set up to give you a cold.

From the moment you land, your lips chap, you walk outside, it's arctic cold, fine, crisp Canterbury day, you're used to that, you expect it.

You walk inside and it is just so bloody hot.

They've got to find a more equal balance.

It doesn't have to be that hot inside.

Yeah, I'd like to know actually from anybody who's living in Canterbury, what do you set your thermostat at?

Because I run a 21.
