So it's new turf, new dirt.
And the cement base was fine, but new turf, new dirt, new outfield padding.
Everything had to be touched up that was replaced that was on the field because of that.
The new roof, I'll get back to that in a second.
Scoreboard, remember it was kind of that scoreboard over left center field, and it was like the one centerpiece, and then there were like ads, and the other ones were just like little ones.
Now that whole thing can be one big screen, so they can show you something that fills that whole space.
uh ribbon board some other stuff like that they brightened it up a little bit the new roof is a couple things about it one is the old roof had two pieces of material for lack of a better word two teflon panels or something and one was more of a sound buffer and also a light diffuser and then the other was like the outside one now this is all one piece it's a higher you know wind resistant higher rated material but because of that it's much brighter in here we've also noticed jeff which you'd appreciate you can hear
The music when there's a band playing at Ferg Sports Bar across the street.
Or the other night when the Lightning scored, not so much Sunday night, but the game before that, Friday night, when the Lightning scored the game winner.
I heard that before I got the alert on my phone, which is hilarious.
And the sound system's better, which, you know, one of those, oh, you say, but then you think when you're sitting here, you can actually hear like the PA announcements now and what they're, you know, they had a post-game concert the other night.
It actually, you could hear the music.
Like, so they fixed that up too.
I know the TV reporter for the Blue Jays, I don't know if you guys know her, but she was asking a question about if you look at some of the panels, they look a little beige and
So the, the roof came beige and as they put it up and they kind of went like a cross, like if they did one on like the first base side, then the next one was on the third base side.
So there was like a pattern to it.
So the last four or five they put up haven't had enough exposure to the sun yet, apparently.
So they still look a little beige.
Eventually they're all going to be away from the outside.
