I mean, and this makes so much sense in like the big picture way if you consider it to mean that Apple will probably be hosting all of the largest models for Apple intelligence in Google's data centers on Google's tech end.
Well, not only that, I mean, and yeah, obviously, they're going to be at least starting out running Gemini as the foundation model.
And probably, honestly, if I had to guess, would probably stay there for the long term.
I don't at this point, I don't see Apple developing their own competitive foundation models are going to be worth using.
I think if they ever do, that's many, many years away.
Like think on the order of like 10 or 20 years away.
And if it ever happens.
And it might just be that they just always use Gemini for the large model stuff.
And if you're going to run the very large flagship level AI models, you're not going to run it on Apple's chips because Apple's chips aren't designed for that.
