It functions as a piece of consumer electronics.

It's garbage.

But the function of a portable 5G hotspot that creates Wi-Fi or over Ethernet broadcast wherever you are

I have so many uses for this all the time.

And in fact, since the iPhone 17 Pro has broken iPhone tethering for me, which is still not fixed, I've been using it more and more.

Oh, my God.

I'm very annoyed.

So in the meantime, I've just been carrying this hotspot whenever I go anywhere outside of the house and want to use my laptop.

and it's fine the only thing is like so the hotspot it's kind of like an apple watch where like if you need to reboot it you just you know go do something else for a while like and the thing is unfortunately almost any kind of configuration change requires a reboot if you want to like take the battery out and switch it to just a hardwire only connection reboot and

If you want to go the other direction, like, oh, I'm going to unhardwire this and put the battery back in, reboot.

If you want to convert it from bridge mode where it just passes the IP address through the Ethernet port to Wi-Fi broadcasting mode, reboot.

And each of those reboots – oh, and just when you're done using it and you turn it off, next time you go to use it, you turn it back on again.

That's a boot.

So it takes a while.
