And, you know, I think months and months ago I've said I'm planning on getting an M something Mac studio because I had no faith that the Mac Pro was going to come out.
And lo and behold, that is the case.
I sure do, yeah.
I have my super duper clone in.
Internal storage is for sure the thing I'm going to miss, which sounds silly because my internal storage is incredibly slow.
It's connected to SATA for crying out loud, but they are SSDs.
The trouble-free nature of internal storage and internal buses, I'm going to miss that the most.
It's not like I'm getting an amazing performance out of it.
It's all inside the box.
I don't have any wires hanging out.
They never unmount weirdly or do weird stuff.
They don't have their own power supplies.
I have an internal time machine SSD, and I have an internal SuperDuper clone.
They're SSDs, and they're slow, but having that inside the case is something that I will miss.
you know, that's a niche market or whatever, but I really do wish there were better external storage options because when I get my Mac Studio, I'm going to want to have an SSD time machine drive and I'm going to want to have an SSD super duper bootable clone drive.
And, you know, I can go try to buy those and buy a Thunderbolt enclosure or something and put a NVMe.
It's a whole bunch of, you know, computer nerd hobbyist stuff that I'm actually not that interested in having
you know, bought bare spinning hard drives and put them into enclosures since the days of like the, you know, classic Mac.
Like I've done that a lot.
I would just prefer to have reliable, trouble-free storage that I can use for this.
