Yeah, I didn't really know what I was going to, because I, it still hadn't occurred to me that I could do acting as a job, even though I had started doing these like small unpaid things on the Gold Coast.

So about halfway through high school, I started, you know, I did my first like, you know, the thing that I described as like a student film.

It was like a

independent film that never got distribution.

So I don't really know what to call it other than a tiny micro-budget film.

And so I did two of those.

I would do commercials for free and, you know, whatever.

And then the job in Melbourne kind of timed out at the end of high school.

So it turned out pretty great that I got to finish my childhood really.

And then, you know, two months later I got the job on Neighbours and then I've been working –

professionally ever since.

Well, I actually, to be honest, I didn't have the money to go to uni anyway.

And I kind of thought, this is crazy.

Am I really going to go?

You know, the thing is like, you finish school, you go to university.

And I know it's like that in America too, like go off to college.

But I was like...

But I don't know that there's something I want to study specifically.

Am I going to put myself in crazy debt for what?

I was like, that's insane.
