I got like the fresh parent energy.
I had to work with that.
It was very intentional, though, because it's super easy.
I could easily look at the childhood I had and the childhood my little sister had and be, it isn't fair.
It would be so easy to be a victim about that.
But that's not serving anyone.
And there's so many good things that I got out of the way my parents parented me.
And you just change the way you see your parents once you become a parent yourself.
And you realize it healed a lot in me literally just to become a parent.
And I'm like, oh, my gosh.
My gosh, I'm getting my ass kicked with one kid.
My parents had nine of us.
We're lucky we're alive.
Like I literally like the fact that my parents had nine kids and none of them died.
That's great.
Like kids have no sense of self-preservation or survival whatsoever.
So the fact that we're all literally alive.
They did a great job.
Yeah, it really does.
And in the most beautiful way, like this career stuff is so fulfilling and so incredible, but it's dust in my mouth compared to the pleasure of being a mom.
