You'll get to hang out with some of the baseball players.
What about the experience, the activity, the non-seventh inning stretch, the non-first pitch for you?
Are you guys looking forward to the most out of this?
We're talking to Matthew Bailey, the defensive back, and Joe Barna, the defensive lineman of the Fighting Illini football team.
It's Illini night here on the north side for the Cubs game against the A's, and we are 104-3 the score.
And I think that probably is, to experience it as football players playing there and then to have to translate that into a baseball game, what was that like?
Because watching it in the stands, it was mind-bending because we're seeing the aspect of the field tilted.
It's in a different way.
But what was it like playing at Wrigley and having that experience, knowing that everything's a little different, not your typical football stadium?
You are not going to have those playing conditions tonight, guys.
And then, Joe, I'll start with you, and Matthew, I want you to add on.
Coach Bielema is not your typical CEO type of big program coach.
He's a guy who will sing the seventh-inning stretch.
He'll fight for his players on a field, not maybe throw punches, but he'll get in the mix.
What is it like playing for him, and how would you guys describe his personality to us?
Yeah, Coach will mix it up in a bowl game.
He doesn't care.
But also, did he give you, Matthew, any advice when it came to singing?
Because the guy can sing.
