So, yes, there is a very high chance that you're going to give up points.
You're right about 19 points allowing should be enough.
But the problem was the amount of plays that they were able to run.
The Lions mirrored a lot of the Bears' struggles earlier in the season.
They ran a lot of plays against the Bears.
They just weren't able to get it done in the red zone.
You can't lean on that in the playoffs.
And you couldn't lean on it against a playoff team in the 49ers.
And there are times where this offense isn't consistent enough to be able to gunsling its way out of it.
And frankly, it needs to do it in the beginning of the game, not just the end.
But the defense only being concerned about points, there's another part of this that I don't like either, since I'm here.
And another thing.
I don't like the fact that Ben Johnson talks about how the pass rush needs to show up most when they have a lead and secure it.
You paid that defensive line so much money that you should be able to also let them cook when you need a stop.
And you can't rush four down linemen.
And that's a glaring problem with how this thing was put together, too.
And you yourself, Marshall, talked about your concerns about it back at training camp when everybody was theoretically healthy.
That's Mark Grody.
That's Marshall Harris.
