But let's hear what Teron Armstead is saying about Braxton Jones because of how important he is this year left tackle.

I think Braxton Jones has had a hell of a career relative to where he is drafted.

I mean, I think the guy has accomplished a lot.

I also think that he might get better, like there might be things that he can get better because he seems earnest in the desire to do it.

You and I know how intelligent he is and how thoughtful he is.

and how desirous he is to be better.

That's all genuine.

I just think he's a guy that, and I know I overuse this, but he's just a guy that's not going to insult your sensibilities as a left tackle, as an offensive lineman, but he's also imperfect.

He is a decent offensive lineman in the NFL is what he is.

Absolutely, and hopefully there are some things that Braxton Jones legitimately is able to sharpen if it is him that indeed does get the job at left tackle.

Of course, things are where they were, and that is that the Bears let out their statement that they are moving forward with their plans in Indiana.

However...

And everybody in Illinois is still talking like there's an opportunity for the Bears to come back to Illinois.

And it doesn't feel like there's been a whole lot of big pushback from the Bears either.

So as we sort of suspected, even though they may be going forward with their plans in Indiana, that doesn't mean they're not still listening to the state of Illinois.
