I'm not suggesting they're going to sacrifice, you know, a chance to win the Premier League.
But I mean...
If Arsenal and City pull away or one of those two teams pulls away from Villa, as we sort of expect they will do, then Villa do at least have that wiggle room to think, well, we're sort of safely ensconced in the top four.
And actually, we probably could rotate a little bit to prioritise the Europa League.
You know, it's not...
I know you made the Spurs comparison there, but I mean, they sort of wrote off their entire season and almost gave up on the Premier League.
Villa can balance that a little bit more because of the buffer they've got already.
Yeah, and I tweeted something out about the Arsenal's record against the sort of traditional big six this season, which is that they've taken nine points from seven games so far.
Nine points from a possible 21.
And in those matches...
We've talked about, again, this idea that Liverpool at Anfield in August, there for the taking, lost a tight game 1-0.
City at home a few weeks later, City were kind of all over the place, there for the taking.
They scrambled a point in the last-minute equaliser.
Chelsea, they played 11 v 10 for quite a long period of that game and didn't really go for it, drew the game.
Liverpool at home, they drew 0-0 again.
There was a chance to go and extend the lead at the top of the table.
And then you've got United, of course.
And I argue, over the weekend, they were quite fortunate to beat United at Old Trafford.
So there is a trend there, which should be a serious concern for Arsenal and Arteta.
They're just not quite... What they're not doing is allowing the best squad in the league to show they're the best squad in the league.
