Yeah.
McMahon, now, yeah, yeah, was McMahon, could he make, could he, was he as athletically as good as Caleb Williams?
No, no, I would say not, was not quite that, although he made his own share of spectacular plays, you know, in his own way.
And he couldn't stay healthy, but, you know, that was a part of being Jim McMahon.
It was almost destiny that he wouldn't stay healthy because if he was the kind of guy, you know, if he played, if he avoided contact like Caleb Williams does, he might not have been Jim McMahon.
You know what I'm saying?
I mean, that's, you know, what made him great, you know, obviously was also his undoing.
Yeah, he never had a full 16-game season, not once.
But his record is phenomenal.

I know I mentioned Luckman.
That was my go-to guy as far as best quarterback.
But Jim McMahon deserves special mention because he was more than just a quarterback who happened to be on those great teams.
He was a big part of that.
He was not only a big part of making the offense good, but making the whole team great.
the whole team good he's just to me he was special yeah no i i agree that's something for caleb to aspire to as well not just luckman but also jim mcmahon is a guy who you know and he's already there you can tell i mean he makes plays in his own way the same way uh mcmahon did
Yeah.
When they're behind in desperation.
McMahon was great in desperate times and could kind of will his team through with Ditka's urging to victory.
And we've seen that.
