I could rerun that story like three or four times every time they put somebody on the injury list.
Well, I think it is salvageable.
I still think they have a good lineup.
I'll be honest.
I mean, I felt all along that they would snap out of it.
And I have to admit, they're kind of proving me wrong because they just β I think it's more of a mental thing.
They just can't β I think they're giving in to kind of all the pressure that's building up.
When you see a team hit as poorly, a lineup as good as that that hits as poorly as they do with runners in scoring position, I think that's one of those things you can't say, well, eventually that'll fix itself.
That's a problem.
So I do think in their division, I think, again, they're a good defensive team.
They're solid.
They're above average defensively in several positions.
Overall, they're good defensively.
Their lineup is good from top to bottom when it's good.
It's not going well right now.
So I still I don't think this season is lost by any stretch.
But at some point you can no longer say it's June because pretty soon it'll be July and then August and they've got to do something.
But still hopeful, but not quite as hopeful as I was like a month ago when this thing started.
Well, I look at the White Sox as more of a long-term, big-picture situation, to tell you the truth.
I think what's good about them is every player they've brought in has been productive immediately, and they have good player development.
