I was also very, very surprised they got rid of Ange at the end of last season after what he accomplished.
Yes, their league position wasn't great.
However, winning a first European trophy in over 40 years, finishing Champions League position was very, very impressive.
And I also believe had he still been there, they wouldn't be in this predicament.
My concern is Tottenham are not used to being in this position.
The fans don't know what it's like.
They're on edge.
They're a club that...
have been, or certainly the fan base, have been very, very disappointed for some time.
I don't know whether the players have the ability to get themselves out of it.
Just because of the pressure that is on them, this sort of latter stages of the season, and fighting for your lives.
I think not many people can put their finger on what's going on at Tottenham.
If you look at their remaining fixtures, even though the next weekend's game is against Wolves away, Wolves are relegated, but there's almost like a sense of weight taken off Wolves' shoulders.
Now they have an opportunity to try and give something back to their fans.
They're at home against a Tottenham side who are struggling.
Then they've got Villa, they've got Leeds, they've got Chelsea, which Chelsea will have, you know, like nothing more to play a part in sending Tottenham into the championship.
And then last game of the season, which they don't want it to be, go down to the wire, is they're playing at home to Everton and David Moyes' side will not roll over and will make it very, very difficult for Tottenham to get the points they might need to stay out.
Oh, it's so hard to call out.
I fear for them.
