There's no move that can be made.

We can sit here and get mad every day about the Cubs losing, but until the trade deadline or some sort of commitment is made to either buying or, dare I say, selling, there's nothing that the Cubs can do except for what they've been trying to do, and that is comporting themselves desperately.

They'll kick your ass, though, man.

Still strong, by the way.

That's the reality of what we're looking at here.

I did like one decision Craig Council made in the game.

That was to let Shota just have a seat after five innings.

It's 1-0.

Yeah.

Well, because the last game, he pitched very strongly for five innings.

And then it was inside the park to run homer because PCA lost the ball in the lights.

Remember all that?

So it was a little bit of tough luck for Shota, but I do think that was probably in Craig Council's head as well.

I ain't doing this again.

I'm going to let him feel good about himself.

So it was nice to see Shota Imanaga look a little bit better in that game.
