And the reason is because of their depth.

This is going to be the biggest World Cup in history.

It has the most teams.

And so essentially you're going to add two games.

And so to win the World Cup, you're going to have to play more than you've ever played before.

And the schedule is condensed.

And the travel is bigger because it's in the United States and it's a big country.

And Canada and Mexico.

And so when I look at the betting favorites, who has the most depth?

You're going to have to rotate.

There's going to be some injuries.

You're going to rely on your entire roster.

The U.S.

has a good roster, but it's not the most deep compared to an Argentina, a Brazil, an England, a Spain, a Germany.

So that's one side of it.

The other side, and this is just me speaking as a former defender, I'm a little nervous that they don't have enough reps together.

When you play in the back, your back four and your goalkeeper, in order to feel comfortable, you need games.

Like, not just two games.

Like, 20 games.

Going into World Cups, like your center back partner, I mean, to feel good next to your center back partner, you need 20 games.
