Well, I think the thing that jumps out the most to me just with his age, I mean, he's only been 20 for a month, a little less than a month now.
is his baseball acumen so watch him when the ball is away from him when when the ball's not hit to him uh when he's a trailing runner things like that uh he had a play running running from third base the other day that a ball was hit down the line and ended up being foul uh there were there was a runner on i believe second base here it might have been first base um where connor recognized the only thing he could do was to go towards home plate
and try to score the run if it was a fair ball or get into a rundown to allow the trailing runner to get on to third base.
And just that acumen of how it almost looked instinctual.
He didn't think about it.
He didn't hesitate.
The ball ended up being a foul ball, but because of the third baseman coming towards the bag, if he had gone back towards the bag, if it was fair, they just would have tagged him and then would have been able to throw the ball across the infield.
It's the little things, just the baseball acumen I've been blown away by.
You know, the physical traits, it's pretty easy for everybody to see.
He's 6'4", 220-something pounds, and he's just a physical guy for his age.
To be 20, he's a grown man.
I think he's going to continue to grow and develop on the offensive side.
He's been swinging the bat a whole lot better since he turned 20.
MLB Network actually did a breakdown of him today, and I think he's hit like 340 his last 25 games, something like that.
It was a struggle his first 19, 20 games.
But he's starting to learn how teams are going to attack him and how they're going to pitch him.
And he's made some nice adjustments, which, again, for a guy at his age to be able to do that, it's been really impressive.
Well, we're a baseball team out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
There it is.
That's who we are.
