The flex of saying, oh, yeah, my kid's a lawyer.
That's what every parent wants, man.
You're giving it to them.
The check can not touch that.
They're just proud of you, aren't they?

Force them into an experience.
If you notice around the house, man, that grill could use an upgrade.
Once I graduate and I get a job, I'm just going to surprise them with a great grill.
