Well, this will test my theory.

That offense is more important than defense.

And I've said many times going into off seasons, I want them to, on their big grease board, erase all positions.

take away their players' gloves and burn them and just find hitters.

That's pretty much what they did.

So I'd be hypocritical to sit here and say that that was a mistake.

I don't think it was.

I think offense is more important than defense.

Somebody else might argue that and say, Joe, they're supposed to have a great pitching staff.

You want to have great defense behind great pitching.

I know, but what if they lose this year because Gonzalez can't field his position, because Cruz is misplaying balls, because Reynolds is no longer a left fielder, because O'Hearn is a butcher.

What do you think of that, Limits?

Because they want a better defensive shortstop because that's a more important position.
