There's going to be no walking into it.
It's almost going to be a letdown with the crowds compared to what they're into.
But as a pitcher, I think basically your time clock gets started earlier.
And that probably started with somebody like, I mean, this is how I would have approached it, not that I'm Paul Skeens or was anywhere near Paul Skeens as a pitcher, but if I was asked to do it, I would have been starting this process in October.
You know, everything, I have to be ready to pitch like it's opening day at this event.
And so I got to make sure that, like, instead of being ready for this on March 1st, I got to be ready for this on February 10th and then kind of push it all back.
And I guess the worry is this is different.
Like this adrenaline is way different.
Not different than opening day.
It isn't.
Or the first week or that first time pitching the regular season.
But it just makes the season a little longer.
And most of these pitchers that are pitching in this right now have been carefully taken care of for a time period.
You know, the younger ones through their minor leagues, not like,
me trying to throw 190 innings in the minor leagues when I was playing, they've been taken care of with their arms even in the big leagues.
So now it just adds a longer season to it, more responsibility.
And, you know, the Scooble thing is understandable on my part.
It really is.
And you could tell he was torn.
He was one outing, gone, nothing else.
