Fans love it, right?

And again, especially this Pittsburgh town that is a tough, blue-collar town, they love the fact that he's out there fighting on a call or whatever the case may be.

And that was Barco on the mound, correct, at the time?

I believe it was.

Yes.

And how about this?

He's mad because he knows Barco's kind of in a jam.

He wanted to get this young kid.

He remembers what it's like to be the young kid, right?

And how that first swinging bunt single I got was like, I got a hit.

So from a pitching perspective, I want to get him through this inning.

You know, that's a big call in this inning.

He just punched out Suarez, their best hitter, on this play.

And then you heard KY say it on the air, guarantee he's not striking out now and he's probably getting a hit.

And boom, there's the hit.

And I think that, like, you know, whether it was Barco or whoever else it may have been, that's sticking up for your pitcher in that spot more so than just getting after the umpire.

That's sticking up for your pitcher because it's hard to pitch in the big leagues.
