That's something that only Rasheed Rice can answer, and I don't know what goes through his head at any particular moment in time.

Yeah, and I have the same philosophy.

I mean, especially, I mean, if you did any strategic thinking, and like we've discussed, I mean, there's not a lot of strategic thinking apparently going on here.

But even if you're his lawyers, his agent, anybody, I mean, I think you would have been saying, hey, Rasheed, you want to get these 30 Daddy Days out of the way because you want to send a message to people that you're being accountable, that you're doing the right things, you're taking responsibility here.

And more importantly, that the next team that signs you

is going to know that you don't have 30 days in jail to serve, that they're going to have you every single day and that you're going to be available.

And this this is not hanging over your head.

I mean, I get he had five years to do it.

So, you know, I mean, hey, and I'm just enough of a procrastinator, you know, surrendered.

If I was in that spot, I mean, it'd probably be four and a half years and I'd probably be like, OK, well, I guess I better go ahead and get those 30 days in.

Yeah.

I don't know what I would have done.

I mean, because, hey, if I have a test on Moby Dick tomorrow, I mean, I'll start reading the book here in a few minutes, but I don't know what I would have done if it was 30 days in jail.

Oh, man.

Yeah, it's interesting to think about because, I mean, I feel like that the Chiefs generally, they do put an emphasis on that whole interest in football thing.

But, you know, if you look at both the Dorsey and the Veach eras, I mean, they've taken plenty of guys that clearly have other interests.

I mean, I think you could probably put Dee Ford in that category.

of players who had, you know, other interests other than just playing football.

And D always struck me as just about one of the most laid-back dudes I've ever met.
