So I'd write the first one, Molly would write the second one, I'd write the third one.

And so we'd each have our own sort of ideas of where the story should go, but we'd be building the same characters in the same world, and we're very competitive, aren't we?

And I think what I didn't realise going into it is just how different our visions for the story might be.

It's a murder mystery...

And in chapter one, I get to set up the murder, but I'm not gonna be the person that solves it, sadly.

Moll's gonna solve the murder.

And I wrote a brilliant detective, incredible character.

He's a Poirot of the modern age.

I'm not sure.

He's called Detective Ian Chalk.

matt's slightly in love with this character what's he like i've tried to kill him off multiple times he's he's a very enigmatic man um he's uh a sort of hardened detective um has had a recent traumatic experience involving um getting trapped in some caves at cheddar gorge which he doesn't want to talk about but he had to survive for several days on just baby bell

And he's got a... They all need a floor, don't they, characters?

His flaw is that he finds it very hard to accurately judge measurements.

So if you said like, oh, it's on the wall two metres over there, he can't do it.

So it's a gripping character.

Does he appear... Sorry, so he's dyspraxic?

But only with length.
