In what I think is an unprecedented decision of positivity with UK Athletics, UK Athletics is lowering concession prices this year for events on campus.

Wow.

Basically everything but –

Basketball, because that's off campus.

Let me read you.

These are pretty significant lowerings.

Hot dog goes from $5 to $3.

Soda and water from $7 to $4.

Wow.

Domestic beer from $10 to $5.

Hey, it's fair.

Nachos from $6 to $4 and pretzels from $5 to $3.

When have you ever heard of schools lowering the prices?

Apparently, from what I was told, Will Stein was a big part in trying to make people encouraged to come out for year one and to see the product, really encouraged it, and then others got behind it, whoever our concession people are.

agreed to sort of work with them on it.

So basically 50% off beer, 43% off soda, 40% off hot dogs, et cetera, at UK on-campus athletic events.

From what I understand, for the entire season, everything except basketball.

I mean, that's pretty amazing.

It's Bud Lights are $5.

Some of the other beers may be higher, but Bud Light will be $5.
