I think it's going to be a minimal stay on the IL, but he needs to be shut down three to four days, and then we'll get him on the mound again, bullpens, and we'll see how it goes.
But because of that, we don't want to go short, and Kolek had just been here, and it's a natural fit to bring him back.
He'll have three to four days no throw and then hopefully a quick ramp up back to getting on the mound, bullpens and then see, you know, again, it's like any other rehab.
You have to see how he feels that day and then the day after and then you keep progressing.
So we don't have any particular timeline filled out, but we're hopeful that it's not much more than 15.
I mean, they drive, you know, we have a protocol in place for all these different types of injuries that KT and Blummer and those guys have.
But it relies on the player.
You can have something written down, but if they don't feel like they can do that, then you have to, you know, scale back.
And if they get ahead of schedule, you push a little bit more.
But the communication is paramount.
Yeah, I mean, he takes it in stride.
He's a pro, but it's disappointing for sure.
I mean, he was really looking forward to getting on the mound in AAA and getting ramped up and back here quickly, and obviously that's not going to happen.
So he's disappointed, but if anybody can handle it, he can.
Yeah, they're challenging because they match up well up and down the lineup.
They have a lot of talented pitch hitters on the bench.
It makes it a difficult matchup for the bullpen.
And they play good baseball.
