And it's very unfortunate because he had such a high level of success from the beginning of training camp when he came into Chicago and they thought he hit a rookie wall in training camp.
But...
ended up progressing through that and playing very well down the stretch.
So I think that's why I was saying left tackle, don't be shocked.
If a guy falls, if they fall in love with somebody, that they go left tackle early.
Well, you've got to think that the left tackle situation will at least be as good as it was last year.
And they got through it last year.
You've got to look at it that way because Theo Bennett played a big chunk of the games at left tackle.
He's back.
He's a year older.
He's got another year under Dan Rochard.
Braxton Jones, same thing.
He started the first four or five games.
He's back.
He's got a year healthy.
And like I said, getting better versus getting back, that mentality when you're coming into an off-season training, hitting the weight room, you're squatting, you're running versus doing ankle mobility and you're trying to heal up from a
a big time break in your ankle, some ligament damage, it's a big difference.
So I expect Braxton to come in and be better than he was last year, and Theo's getting better.
He's a young guy.
This was his first game experience.
