And at this rate, before long, we're going to get a Trump assassin who's convinced that his own assassination attempt was staged somehow.
I mean, these are people who find the idea that everything is fake or a simulation to be extremely intoxicating.
So I guess that's where all this is heading.
It's tempting to call all these people morons, which, of course, they are.
It would be an accurate characterization.
But if you look at the profile of a leftist assassin, it's hard to ignore the fact that they're mostly above average intelligence, or at least they think they are.
By all accounts, Luigi Mangione was not a dumb guy.
Neither was Thomas Crooks.
And Cole Allen was educated at Caltech, which is one of the most competitive schools in the country.
So this is not just some random flunky.
Their acceptance rate is around 3%.
Granted, he was almost certainly a DEI candidate who wasn't remotely qualified to pursue mechanical engineering, which was his major.
And I can make the determination for a few reasons.
First of all, his career flatlined.
He quickly became a teacher for a strip mall SAT tutoring company, as well as an indie game developer who didn't actually make any games.
Not exactly the profile of a competent engineer.
And secondly, when the shooter was in school, he appeared in this local news report, which strongly indicates that he's much less impressive than he thinks he is.
Watch.
His grand invention is sticking some PVC pipe into the bottom of a wheelchair to function as an emergency brake.
And because he's black or at least half black, we're all supposed to be impressed by this.
