This is a pattern.

Every single witness demonstrated that Anthony was trying to instigate a fight.
One witness even testified that he challenged Austin Metcalf to a fist fight, to which Metcalf replied, I'm not going to fight you at a track meet, bro.
And this isn't a dispute anymore.
I mean, something every witness agrees upon.
Even the defense's own witnesses, the witnesses they called in an effort to build their case for self-defense ultimately benefited the prosecution.
One of those witnesses was a 17-year-old student from Memorial High School who knew Carmelo well and who talked to him when he arrived at the tent.
On direct examination by the defense, the 17-year-old was asked about his previous statements to detectives where he indicated that Metcalfe had verbally threatened Anthony.
And at first, this testimony looked like it would indeed benefit the defense.
