And so we kind of, we sort of knew Charlie through, I had some nights out of Charlie as well.
I can imagine.
Yeah, yeah.
So have I.
and then obviously we've done you know in the in the last three or four years we've done quite a few shows together you know we've you know been yeah loved playing with you guys supporting you guys you know across the country you know since it's been it's been a joy yeah on the road with us and you are and and as a live band goes you guys are fucking awesome
We've had a lot of practice.
We never stopped.
Basically, after, you know, the hits dried up.
We had three or four glory years.
You know, number one, This Ain't A Love Song, She's So Lovely, Elvis Ain't Dead, we had like six Airplay Radio Ones from 2007 to 2010.
And then suddenly we released a record which everyone thought was going to be a hit.
it didn't do anything.
And then suddenly, you know, no one at the record label was picking up the phone.
And so we kind of just went back to basics and we were like, let's just gig and become the best live band we could.
You know, the whole point of getting a record deal, what we really wanted to be was just, you know, we grew up in the 90s and sort of Oasis, cigarettes and alcohol was like...
you know, cigarettes, alcohol, music.
That's all we wanted to do.

Yeah.
I've never talked about it.
