yeah there's always one person who will be because every single person was up for it for a massive night and that's a good way to hide because because then no one's seeing every night and we're seeing one night out of four one out of five yeah no one knew and they just honestly it was all it was all put down to like they're just lads on tour for many many years and it's quite interesting because on that side like the massive caning side

which generally I did get away with, but like sort of maybe once every year, every six months, something fucking awful would happen.

Something potentially life-changing.

But for the grace of God.

didn't yeah like i didn't die you know and and that happened like from when i was like this is where i knew i had a problem because i for even from the age of from 18 to 41 when i stopped at least there would be something horrendous that happened once a year like i fell off the balcony of hammersmith palais you know literally all the way like clubs i fell down steps you know i got beaten up so many times for just being a drunken idiot in the wrong place wrong time you know

I once woke up, my bad things was like,

I would go to bed and then sleepwalk drunk, trying to go to the toilet, and then I would wake up in weird places.

So I woke up in an alleyway in Glasgow, like a mile away from the hotel, just in my boxer shorts.

I once woke up in a house I'd broken into to go to bed.

Really?

Because I couldn't find the hotel.

I was like, where?

what have I done now fortunately I think we were abroad it was like Gibraltar I can't even remember where it was it was a big night and sort of opened the door like there was no one I think it might have been an Airbnb I have no recollection of how I got there I came out and the hotel was across the road so I couldn't even see there which is a funny story but actually it could have been that could be breaking in prison cell in fucking Spain totally

Yeah, or I could have died so many times.

There are so many things where if it had gone the other way, it would have changed my life forever.

And probably five or six occasions where I was lucky not to die.

And the thing is, it was all laughed off as Roy loves a drink.

He's such a laugh.
