And I'd say working smarter, not harder, which you might not say about Christopher Harder, the defence lawyer for Neville Walker.
But they tried to get it together, which is kind of interesting, isn't it?
Because you could argue that separately, you might be able to get Neville Walker off
and blame it all on Renee Chignall or vice versa because they're different people with different roles in the whole situation.
But that was never the case.
They were tried together.
So, yeah, there was a rabid media scrum outside the court on the morning, and the whole courtroom was packed with friends and family in the queues.
It was the biggest court case in New Zealand history, really, a massive media circus.
Bruce Squire was the Crown Prosecutor.
And the judge was Mr. Justice Hellyer, who I'm going to say right now probably didn't have the best trial.
