There's even people who are like Christians were like, no, Easter isn't pagan. Yeah, we did get the bunnies and the eggs from like the celebration of Estra, but that's that's it. No, not even that. The eggs come from Lent because people would abstain from animal products during Lent and then hard boil the eggs at the end and then eat them as part of the Lenten feast.

Yeah. Which is why the Ishtar argument makes no sense. They're like, Easter, Ishtar, obviously. It's like, I can do word association too. I mean, there might have been a few individuals who did, but the vast majority of people living in England in the 700s didn't know Ishtar ever existed. That's the other thing. People tend to have this idea that throughout history, everyone has known as much about other cultures as we did now. There are long periods of time where entire cultures were lost to history.
