We choose not to do it.
And the problem, again, it comes back to the point where we shouldn't be in a position where we have to make a choice.
I say we, the FAI have to make a choice.
And I said this last week, the FAI is the Football Association of Ireland, right?
And very quickly you can caveat that and say UEFA has the word football in its name, FIFA has the word football in its name.
But FIFA have chosen to get politically with stuff as far as Trump and all that sort of thing goes.
UEFA have chosen to banish Russia from stuff and that was a UEFA decision.
They revised it and they decided to stay with it.
They've opted not to do that with Israel.
So they have set a precedent where they have to β their responsibility is on them now because they've opted to do that.
The government as well, the same, if they feel as though β
there is reason not to partake in this game, then they should make that active.
But I think, back to your original question, I think 100% if we don't go ahead with this game, it's absolutely going to raise questions as to whether they see us as a suitable place to host games for the Euros.
And whether that matters or not is a totally separate issue, but it's the fact that
That is something that will happen.
It just is.
Whether to take action on it, I don't know.
Yeah, but that's fine.
That's all well and good and that's true.
But that's not something that UEFA are going to have to contend with because Spain haven't been drawn to play against Israel.
