The high end of that range might be 51.

So...
Your lawyer, your public defender is going to say, listen, we know he can't really go above 51 months.
And so you're within the range.
So either one of those should be OK.
But they're going to recommend 36 months.
OK, fine.
So you go in.
The parents talk.
The U.S.
attorney talks.
The judge looks at it, and the judge says, 25 years.
And as a defendant, you're like, you go to your lawyer and say, what are you talking about?
You said I couldn't go above 51 months.
And they're like, you know, he's not supposed to be able to do that.
He's not supposed to.
He can do whatever he wants.
