Lisa Finley claimed that Lisa Presley borrowed $3.8 million from a private lender and pledged Graceland as collateral for the loan before Lisa Marie Presley died in 2023, right?
So none of this is true, but this is what she's claiming.
And so...
what Lisa Finley did is she threatened to sell Graceland to the highest bidder.
She's foreclosing upon Graceland functionally.
If the Presley family didn't pay $2.8 million in a settlement.
And so Lisa poses as three different people allegedly involved with this fake lender that doesn't exist.
She fabricates loan documents and publishes a fraudulent foreclosure notice in a Memphis newspaper announcing the auction of Graceland in May 2024.
Ballsy.
Imagine the gall, right?
Elvis's granddaughter actually owns the property right now.
Her name's Riley Keough.
She's an actress, I guess.
She catches wind of this and sues.
A judge halts the proposed auction, right?
We're not going to auction off Graceland, the judge says, with an injunction.
We're going to pause this until we find out what's going on here.
Lisa has a criminal history.
attempting to pass bad checks.
And so she begins doctoring, creating documents to make it look like this entire scheme to steal Graceland was a Nigerian identity theft scam.
