Sunday night into Monday was like, man, this could be over in four or five, right?
And then Tuesday night, you know, everybody's panicking and kind of, you know, the wild swings of emotion are definitely pretty intense in a playoff series.
But I think
when you settle down, you take a breath.
What a lot of people in Buffalo have realized, a lot of Sabres fans, I think is that Boston is a legit, you know, first round opponent.
I think there were a lot of people in town going in that maybe hoped it was going to be Ottawa or maybe hoped it was going to be Boston instead of Ottawa.
And they're seeing that this matchup isn't, isn't super easy, right?
This isn't a cakewalk in the first round, really no first round series is in the NHL with the way the format is.
So I think the rest of the series, I think it's going to be a great series.
Before the series, I thought it was going to go seven games.
I thought it favored the Sabres, but this matchup is tough.
The Bruins know how to play defensively.
They don't make a lot of mistakes in their own end, and they have clearly come up with some tactics to blow the Sabres down in the neutral zone and in transition, and now it's on the Sabres to find the counterpunch.
It seems like they're getting to late in games
in figuring out how to break through, but they need to do that in the first 40 minutes of a game.
And yeah, you mentioned that goal who go back to Luke and then let in.
So now there's, you know, goalie questions.
It wouldn't be a playoff series, right.
Without a little goalie controversy and you know, little things like that, you know, there was definitely some more emotion in the game last night as far as stuff after the whistle.
So yeah, it definitely feels like playoff hockey is back in Buffalo.
