It's the only thing off limits because the nearby valley temple that's associated with it is not off limits.

And so isn't it interesting that the the Rosetta Stone that may have unlocked everything is in the one off limits private area in the Giza Plateau?

And he's been there with another Egyptologist named Muhammad Ibrahim numerous times.

And much respect to those two gentlemen, but the same principle as the invisible gorilla.
