The very center of this column, which, by the way, that's one of the most structurally difficult masonry tasks I have ever seen on an ancient stone in my life.
Yeah, it's incredible.
They've managed to carve three levels.
perfectly in one of the hardest stones on earth.
You see that?
What I did not focus on originally are those three pillars.
It's roughly four feet tall.
It's huge.
And that's basalt.
Basalt, yeah.
So the first thing is notice that those, the tree of life in the center is sitting inside two pillars.
Do you see that?
And that those two pillars repeat themselves as three.
See that concept on the left, middle and right.
It repeats over and over again.
Everything is repeating in this.
Now, let's stay in the center, because the center is what matters the most in this example to explain.
Now, they're mirrored on the right and left, too.
It doesn't matter.
But notice in the center here for a second, there are three levels.
