um he i i i met him at manly he came in he came to manly and i played with him at manly i don't think we ever played first grade together i think he was just he was too young then but when he came i played with arwen in first grade at the warriors and my dick boy could play like if he if he hadn't been smashed up with injuries he he he would have been one of the greats yeah he because he could offload with both hands he was tough as teak

And he was just a good bloke to have around, you know.

Just the most brutal round of injuries.

He just, yeah, some guys were just unlucky and so he was unlucky.

All of the guys were good, you know.

Stacey's good too, you know, smiley, you know, like all the guys were cool.

but they just weren't tough enough.

You know, they just didn't have that mental resilience, you know, and that's why we're still struggling today.

And, you know, I'll say this, like, you've got to clear the dead wood, man.
