They could have sent a message down to the boundary rider and had a word to the doctor, but no one said anything.

There might have been 100 people in the room before the game, but no one said anything.

Having Carl and Cobble to blame, they've probably done some wrong things, but this is an industry problem, Gerard.

Everybody failed here, and I think that's the problem.

Everybody failed, from the AFL down to the clubs.

Both clubs.

I'm not just saying Carlton.

Collingwood and Carlton are both to blame, and the AFL, everybody.

I made sure today that our players didn't take for granted what he does and maybe he can get a little bit of like, oh yeah, he's at 39 and kicked a goal.

Yeah, he does that most weeks but I showed most of these highlights to our playing group to show the gratitude and appreciation of what we've got in our building so we don't walk past it and not reward this sort of behaviour.

And I said to him that not many can do this in front of Pendles and Steele and all these players that have done it for a long time but

what we're getting to witness right in front of our eyes is pretty special.
