But years and years and years ago, a long, long time when I was sort of in my early to mid-20s, a bloke used to say to me – there was a couple of blokes I knew and they said, oh, mate, if you go to a pub in Maitland, mate, every Saturday there's this old bloke who just sits there by himself having a beer and he's got a full scrap of paper and he just writes down notes the whole time watching the game.

Anyway, mate, we take the piss out of him.

Everyone takes the piss out of him and –

One day I walk along with these blokes and they go, mate, there's that old bloke there.

And I said, mate, that's Alan Bell.

He's probably the smartest bloke.

So you just never know.
