A lot of fans, because I saw LaRusso getting flack before the Wayne thing, but just signing with Roc Nation because he was very open about turning down a deal with Roc Nation a few years ago when Roc Nation's whole structure was drastically different.
Well, he said there was no numbers attached to that, the first contract, so...
And I think a lot of fans, rightfully so, get attached to a artist that preaches independence, preaches doing things on your own, promotes that type of positive things for creators and artists.
I think it's important that fans do attach themselves to that.
But I think sometimes fans and listeners can be misinformed to somebody taking that business model and trying to elevate it.
And now they're looking at you like a hypocrite because you don't fully understand the business.
LaRusso did not sell out.
Roc Nation has drastically different deals now where you can partner with somebody to elevate your message that you have already in a different way, on more of a corporate side, to get what you're doing out of just your backyard.
He's not supposed to elevate.
He's supposed to just forever do the exact same business model.
I mean, well, some people would say, yeah, he should just, you know, continue doing what he was doing.
He's still doing it, though.
He's still doing what he was doing.
Still has full creative control.
Now there's just a partner that, I mean, he even said, again, before the Wayne thing, he said, after I signed with Rock, I watched the amount of placements and blogs that were posting my records that had never posted before.
