Oh my gosh, it was so cheap. It was crazy. And even more recently, I booked a deal to Edinburgh, Scotland, and it was $500 round trip from Washington, D.C. And the dates were perfect because it lined up with my childhood friend's wedding in Scotland. And Scotland's not the most common destination. Mine is don't sleep on stopovers. I think when we think about airfare, we often think about it as just a round trip to one destination and we want to get the lowest price for that. But if you have time, you should think about booking a multi-city itinerary because sometimes it won't cost any extra and it's like you got two destinations for the price of one.
