Oh, God.
So I am an accidental entrepreneur, an accidental accountant and an accidental financial advisor.
I feel like accidental is my thing.
So I wanted to study law from school.
That was my thing.
I was very set on it.
But three years in, worked out I hated it.
And my dad was an accountant.
I really wanted to please him.
You know, I was the oldest child people pleaser.
So he said to me, there's law in accounting.
Why don't you go study that?
So I went and studied accounting.
I say that my 13-year-old self would be horrified by that decision.
She'd be crawled up in a fetal position crying, but nonetheless...
And I only started my firm in order to do some more study.
So I thought I'll put some flyers out that shows how old I am into letterboxes around my area, pick up a few clients and do some study.
And five years later I ended up with a business and it was only when I divorced my first husband at age 33 that I took the opportunity to reassess and go, okay,
